When you proceed to checkout you have the option to pay by Paypal. It is very simple and fast to set up a paypal account if you don't have one, which is simply linked to your bank account and offers secure payment. Alternatively you may select the option to pay by debit or credit card if you do not have or do not wish to open a paypal account. This is a quick and secure option of payment and you only have to include basic details.

**Delivery and P & P**

Postage will be added to your cart on checkout for UK customers. We do post worldwide all we ask is that you please e-mail us prior to checkout whereby postage/shipping costs can be advised. We endeavour to send out items promptly and usually this is within 5 days of receiving your order. In some instances delivery may take up to 10-14 days on some of our ranges. Upon confirmation of your order details we will e-mail you to advise delivery times. We try to hold as much stock as space allows but in some instances we sell out on some products at various home retail events but endeavour to re-stock as soon as possible.

We offer postage discounts on multiple purchases and this is automatically adjusted for at checkout. Please see the discount codes available for first orders, delivery is free when you spend £100 on your first order for UK customers only. This does not apply to furniture items.

We take care to wrap each item very carefully. For small items we use Royal Mail recorded for peace of mind and other items are sent by courier. In both instances tracking information will be provided upon receipt of your order.

With regard to large items particularly the furniture and lamps etc, please provide your postcode to allow us to quote fairly and accurately prior to checkout.

Delivery on large items may be arranged free within a 20 mile radius of postcode GU33.

**Lost Items**

Orders sent via Royal Mail are subject to Royal Mail terms and conditions. Parcels are not considered lost or missing by Royal Mail until 15 days after the posting date. As a result, we are unable to refund or replace any orders lost in transit until 15 days after the posting date. If the parcels are large we use  well known couriers and will provide all tracking and delivery information via an e-mail order update.

**Returns Policy**

We hope you are happy with your purchase, but if you are not please return item/s to us within 14 days of the date of receipt and we will be happy to exchange or refund your purchase. This is on the condition that your purchase is returned in perfect condition. We do not accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. Please include any reasons or comments for your return, as we take customer satisfaction very seriously. Unfortunately we are unable to refund the return postage, except in cases of faulty or damaged goods. We cannot be responsible for returned goods being lost upon return. Please retain your proof of postage when returning products.

Items made to order or bespoke and personally commissioned items are not able to be returned due to their individual nature and the fact they are unable to be re-sold. We will always provide a proof or sample of the product you are ordering before going ahead with your order to ensure customer satisfaction. Faulty or damaged bespoke items will be refunded.

DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS

If you are contracting with us as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your contract at any time within 7 working days of receipt of the goods you ordered. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the goods, in accordance with our refunds policy.

To cancel a contract, you must inform us in writing and return the product(s) to us immediately, in the same condition in which you received it, and at your own cost and risk. In addition to our returns policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations you have seven working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase. In this case, we will provide a full refund on the goods only but you must return the cancelled items to us at your cost.

STATUTORY RIGHTS

Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.

** Vintage Items**


The vintage look is very popular with people seeking quality items from times past. We endeavour to sell as best quality pieces that we can find.

Please do bear in mind that vintage pieces are many years old and so you should expect to find minor blemishes in keeping with their age.

We aim to describe these items as accurately as possible but please do not purchase if you are expecting pristine 'as new' items.

When you order goods from us, or otherwise give us personal information, Abode will not share that information with third parties for marketing or any other purposes without your permission.

We may contact you regarding your order and with your permission, to alert you to special offers, new products, updated information and other services or events that you may be interested in.
